Orange Pekoe refers to a particular grade of black tea. The term is thought to originate from China, though theses

than GFOP.
- FTGFOP - Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe: Very high quality GFOP
- SFTGFOP - Supreme Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe: Very high quality FOP with
lots of golden tips. For Darjeeling teas, the "S" indicates Supreme light colored liquor.
- SFTGFOP-1 - This mark is given to the very finest grade.
- OP - Orange Pekoe - Leaf size is quite large and of quality can give the appearance of and
FOP but tend to be plucked later in the year.
- BOP - Broken Orange Pekoe: Broken size tea leaves.
- BOP1 - Broken Orange Pekoe One
- BOPF - Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings: Tea fibers that are smaller than BOP leaves and are
commonly found in tea bags.
